The Gardens for Life project began in 2004 with 75 participating schools (both primary and secondary) from 3 countries, India, Kenya and the UK. Managed globally by the Eden Project, Cornwall, UK this project helped students to establish food gardens within their schools, link these gardens to their curriculum, relate to local food and farming issues and share their experiences with their counterpart countries. Twenty schools from Mumbai and Pune participated in the first phase of this project. Over 300 schools are currently participating in Phase II, with the addition of schools from Gambia and Singapore.

We have registrations for both primary and secondary schools open for 2011-2012.
